Description

Jersey worn by Elizabeth Greenwood (C) of the Boston Hunters during the team’s August 2, 2026 Opening Day game against the San Francisco Firebells. The game marked the beginning of the WPBL’s inaugural season; the first women’s professional baseball league since the AAGPBL of the 1940s. Greenwood wore the jersey on the field at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield, Illinois, as Boston took part in one of the first games in league history.

Greenwood became the first female baseball player in Liberty League history and the first American-born woman to catch in an NCAA baseball game during her time at the University of Rochester. Two years with the Philadelphia Phillies organization and a groundbreaking hire as Vassar College’s first female baseball coach followed, alongside a silver medal with Team USA at the 2024 Women’s Baseball World Cup.

A TRuEST™ authenticator was on-site to witness this item's official use, verifying its direct involvement in the game. Condition may vary slightly from photos, with visible marks and wear that highlight its authenticity.
