Conditions of Sale

Items are sold in "as-is" condition. Due to the unique nature of each item, all sales are final. It is up to the discretion of The Realest whether or not a return request will be accepted. In rare cases of shipping damages, please contact Customer Service within 48 hours of delivery for further instructions.

 

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges will be added to the final bid price of each item.

Approximate shipping rates are:

 

• Continental U.S.: $15.00

• Alaska, Hawaii: $25.00

• Canada: $50.00

• International: $100.00

 

Shipping Information

A valid shipping address is required for all deliveries. We regret that we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or Rural Routes. As a signature is required upon delivery, please ensure that someone is at the delivery address to accept and sign for the package.

 

For In-Person Pickups:
Specific time and location information for item pick-up will be disclosed in the confirmation email sent to purchasers of any item designated as “local pick-up only”.

For security purposes, a valid, government-issued picture ID will be required at pick up.

As part of this email confirmation, purchasers who are unable to pick up items themselves can authorize an agent to do so on their behalf. Purchasers will need to provide The Realest with the name, address, email, and picture ID, of the person they are authorizing, and this information will be confirmed by The Realest at pick up.

 

Standard Conditions of Sale apply to all local, in-person pick ups.

 

Duties and Taxes

All applicable sales tax will be added to winning bids for auction items. All International customers are responsible to pay for all applicable duty and customs charges. Your local government determines duty and customs charges depending on where the merchandise is made and what it is made from. When placing an order on The Realest, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Charges for duties, taxes and the carrier's collection fee are in addition to your shipping charge and must be incurred by you. You should contact your local customs office for further information.

 

Payment Information

The Realest uses Stripe for all payment processing. Please refer to our FAQs for information on adding a payment method to your account. If you are the winning bidder, after 3 days we will charge the primary form of payment as indicated on the customer account, but reserve the right to charge any additional form of payment provided if the transaction fails for the primary form of payment provided . If you are a returning user, please make sure that your payment information is updated before bidding.
