After a legendary 20-year playing career, Tony Gwynn returned to his alma mater to guide the San Diego State Aztecs as head coach, continuing his lifelong devotion to baseball in his hometown. This 2013 Mountain West Championship ring, produced by Jostens, commemorates one of the program’s proudest achievements under Gwynn’s leadership. The face of the ring is set with a bold SDSU logo outlined in red and black, surrounded by a field of sparkling stones and framed with the inscription “Mountain West Champions.” One shank features Gwynn’s name, number 19, and the Hall of Fame logo, while the opposite side highlights “SDSU 2013” with a baseball motif.
