Pin from the 1991 MLB All-Star Game, hosted at the SkyDome in Toronto. Selected for his seventh midsummer classic, Tony Gwynn started in the leadoff spot for the National League. He went 2-for-4 on the day and scored a run, showing the same consistency at the plate that defined his Hall of Fame career.

The American League won the game 4–2, but Gwynn’s performance reflected why he was regarded as one of baseball’s most reliable hitters. By 1991, he had already collected multiple batting titles and Gold Gloves, and his All-Star appearances had become an annual showcase of his talents.
