Description

Black Louisville Slugger bat signed and inscribed “John Thanks!! Tony Gwynn HOF 07.” The bat honors Gwynn’s Hall of Fame induction in 2007, achieved with 97.6 percent of the BBWAA vote.

Though never defined by power, Gwynn demonstrated his offensive range in 1997, hitting a career-best 17 home runs and driving in 119 runs, both personal highs. This inscribed bat reflects not only his Cooperstown enshrinement but also the completeness of his offensive game, which went well beyond his unmatched ability to make contact.
