To achieve this, we have built an extensive, proprietary authentication process to ensure the legitimacy of each item, based in part on the successful Authentication Program at Major League Baseball, which is generally considered the best in the world. Our team of veteran authenticators conducts in-depth inspections and reviews of each item before they can be added to our inventory, including the use of cutting-edge technologies to eliminate any and all counterfeits. All items are sourced directly from our partners and examined firsthand, including signature verification and provenance research. In addition to witness-based authentication, we use hi-res photo matching, covert marking, and other layers of redundancy to ensure that item provenance can be established and maintained over time. Leveraging additional technologies such as immutable blockchain provenance, and secondary markings, we are able to re-authenticate and re-sell items without ever breaking the chain of custody.
